Jerky Box Art #7 Dynamite Duke
We’ve looked at some truly bad pieces of artwork so far, but even Pac-Man dressed like a prefect and crying athletes pointing at the Playstaton logo show some spark of creativity. For Sega’s US and PAL release of the arcade blaster Dynamite Duke the same really cannot be said.
This is by far the laziest boxart we’ve ever come across. Basically it’s a photograph of a solider who resembles the actor Robert Davi.
It takes around two seconds to take a photograph; it took the same amount of time to conjure up this boxart.
As you can see, he looks nothing like the guy on the box? Duke clearly has a blonde flattop, a big hole in his back and a metal right arm; other than that gaping hole in Duke’s back, there isn’t one pixel of green anywhere to be seen.
And here’s the original Japanese art.
Dynamite Duke PAL box, RG truly hates you.

Isn’t that just Dolph Lundgren on the japanese box?
