Retro Tat from Japan

tat1.JPG   So one of our freelancers, Ashley Day, has just come back from Japan and given us these rather cool LCD games. Stuart received this copy of Elevator Action, while I have Sega’s Hang On. The question now, is should we open them or just leave them to gather dust?

Open them. It’d be morally wrong to not play these as nature (and Yu Suzuki) intended.

Yes, hamstrung, I’m sure Yu Suzuki intended Hang On to be played as a rubbish handheld LCD game. And Elevator Action, too, which as everyone knows is another of his famous works, produced during his long and successful stint at Taito.

To be fair that actually looks like more fun than the arcade game…
